Mind Binding is a Lot Like Foot Binding

I overheard a mother in the grocery store telling her young daughter not to be so opinionated, loud and aggressive the other day because people wouldn’t like her if she was. The young girl was simply expressing what she thought about a teacher who slacked on the job. She wasn’t yelling. Customer Service In Unexpected Places

The guy in the welder’s helmet is Roy. Roy works for Steve Brownell who owns Brownell Metal Studio here in Virginia. When my van failed to pass the state inspection recently because the handle on the inside of the door didn’t work, I had to have it fixed. The bar where the handle was supposed to go was stripped down so I couldn’t just buy a $6 replacement at the car parts place. Frigadaire leak and customer service

Has anyone else noticed how manufacturers and businesses have adopted the old Mafia business methods of forcing people to “buy protection” for their products? I have. I recently bought a small Frigadaire refrigerator for my office. It holds mostly cans of Slimfast and a package of cheese, another of baloney and ice water and stuff for making sandwiches. What I love, what I hate

I stand up on my soap box here from time to time. I’m passionate about defending the underdog and it comes out in angry or seemingly unrelated posts. People I love were molested by Presbyterian priests, and child molestation, rape and abuse ranks high on my list of things to complain loud and long about.
