Becky brought me in the news. Same day!
I tried to get media attention for weeks by writing andsending out a lot of press releases on my own. No result! It was frustrating. Then Becky jumped in, helped me out. And—it’s almost unbelievable—10 minutes after I sent out that press release I got a phone call from a NBC media affiliate, they came, interviewed me, and I was on the 6 o’clock news that night. Two days later I was on CBS.
Thanks so much Becky.

Best Advice Ever
Becky wrote me an ebook that I was able to use to help me register people to my ezine. Since compiling the ebook, my conversion rate has gone from 5% to about 40%. The book has been downloaded hundreds of times from my website and forwarded countless more. I don’t have the exact number but people have introduced themselves to me because they have read the book she made. And now she is working on another project for me.

Becky Blanton has a ridiculously overflowing amount of integrity and heart. She has so much integrity and heart that other not-so-integritous people and not-so-bighearted people become better people just from interacting with her. And you know, in the world of business today, that’s the most important thing. Becky is someone you can trust.

… consistently exceeds my expectations
I’ve found Becky Blanton to be one of those rare individuals whose actions demonstrate their authenticity. In business and personally I prefer relationships with people who put truthfulness, friendship, and loyalty above everything else. She consistently exceeds my expectations by doing what she says, helping whenever she can, and treating others with the respect every human being deserves. I’m proud to call Becky my friend.

…She shares, she cares …
I read a book called ‘The Dip by a guy with a funny sounding name – Seth Godin.
I was glad I read The Dip because it has opened up a whole new world.
You see, being a typical Irish Man, I have a view, an opinion, a voice and I love telling stories. We got good enough at it to build a business that’s making a footprint.
But back to Seth Godin. Well, I read his books, read his Blogs and didn’t always agree. So, being shy and retiring I wrote to him. I expected an automated response but ‘No’ the great man replied.
Soon, I was invited to join a unique exclusive website called Triiibes. It’s an online place where some of the world’s best brains hang out. Surely Mr. Godin made a mistake, ‘me?’ Me’ Well, I didn’t need to be asked twice. I stormed in, read, paused, thought and then – bang – “I’m going to write” so I did and people started to come right back at me. You see, my wisdom hit a note or two but that’s not my point.
My point is that there are one heck of a lot of good, bright, successful people out there who do what they do because it is who they are.
Their mission is not money, self or sales. Their mission is to help, share, educate, encourage and as the Triiibes branding says – “Inspire, Illuminate”
My rambling were often peppered by one hugely encouraging voice. Always praising, challenging and testing.
I liked this ‘voice’ I explored ‘her’ view.
She shares, she cares. She makes Triiibes better but more importantly, and she doesn’t know it yet, she has taught me lots.
Next time you get a chance to read Becky Blanton’s view – read it, then read it again. It’s worth a second visit – every time.

…Becky is an absolutely amazing lady …
Becky Blanton is “Aunty Becky” in my household – you see, we have adopted her !!!! She is everything we desire as a significant other in our childrens’ lives. Her qualities are diverse and astounding. She has an extraordinarily enquiring mind, she is wise; she has incredible worldly experience, readily exploring the complex, but appreciating the simple things; she will defend people’s rights to the hilt, but she encourages us to step up and assume our responsibilities; she will step in and fight tenaciously and without fear when required, but is as gentle as a lamb; etc, etc – the list is almost endless. Becky is an absolutely amazing lady, and we love the fact that she shares her life with us.

… clear talent for cutting through the flotsam…
I haven’t known Becky Blanton all that long but long enough to know that I’d like to get to know her better. I joined a community recently and she was in it. Now please bear in mind there are 1000s in this community, 1000s of very talented people yet Becky has stood out. Becky stood out because of her writing and because of the subjects she was writing about, she has a clear talent for cutting through the flotsam and jetsam straight to the heart of the matter. Her motivation for writing is usually to help others.
What’s really special about Becky is that she can do this both on business topics, civil rights or social issues. I know that as soon as I see her name it will be worth reading her thoughts.

… … you’ll get the highest value…
I can’t say much about Becky’s services, as I haven’t used them, other than if they’re of the caliber that would match the caliber of human being she is, they’re the finest. Passionate, talented, committed, thorough, consistent and authentic, Becky’s an original. She gives far more than she would appear to get.
It’s a privilege to know her, and when you hire her, you’ll get the highest value.

… She has courage to question the status quo.
Meeting and knowing Becky has meant so much to me. She’s been a constant source not only of BRILLIANT ideas, but of heart-felt encouragement and a freaking wonderful determination for change.
She cuts straight to the heart of a story (her words cut, and heal, and everything in between). She has courage to question the status quo and anything that means to replace it, and she always seems to be fighting for someone who needs a break. She isn’t afraid of the really crazy ideas, either, and oh my does that ever get my respect. She’s inspired me too many times to count in the (very!) short time I’ve known her. I want to see her change the world. I know she will.

… got goosebumps just reading her few sentences!
Becky is nothing short of outstanding for advice, edginess (in a good way!), and *authentic storytelling*. When I sent her a message that I had started blogging and that I was adding her blog to my own blogroll, she wrote back saying how touched she was — I got goosebumps just reading her few sentences! When I told her I was interested in biofuels, she promptly provided me her personal connections, provided context on what is being done in Virginia, and encouraged my next adventure. Becky is truly inspirational to many and capable of creating so much for others just by her writing. Let her create context, connection, and engagement for you!

… Becky Blanton – Storyteller Extraordinaire
Becky Blanton. She’s more than a writer. She’s a storyteller. A woman as comfortable telling a story to a room of 100 as she is spinning a yarn to a single person while sitting around the fireplace in a comfortable parlor.
Not many others share Becky’s gift with words. She manages to capture the imagination by having her readers share the emotions of those she’s writing about. She puts us in a place whereby we more than picture the story that she’s telling. We empathize with the characters and imagine ourselves in the story. Whether it’s a homeless couple with no way out or a well-heeled businessman with everything to live for.
What makes Becky such an exceptional writer is her true talent for listening to people and, then transforming what she has heard into richly painted scenarios, using nothing more than words on a page. Her descriptions are so vivid we smell the bread in the oven. We see the sweat and grime of an overworked coal miner. We even hear the unique crackle and rushing wind emanating from a furious brush fire.
Another talent Becky possesses that enhances her storytelling prowess is the many jobs she’s held during her lifetime. Policewoman, journalist, ditch digger, and massage therapist are a few of the scores of professions she’s dabbled in over the years. This broad range of experiences makes it easier for her to identify with a variety of personalities and lifestyles.
Should I ever need a writer, there are hundreds of good ones out there from which to choose. Should I ever need a storyteller, I’d go with Becky Blanton.

… Oh Becky Blanton …
Oh Becky Blanton, what can I tell you about her. I’ve known Becky only digitally (though triiibes) but I’d have to say that from the time I’ve known her she has left a long lasting impression that I can talk a lot about. I don’t know where to start really or where to end so I decided to just say a few words about Becky in a very short poem even though she deserves much more. So here goes:
Becky Oh Becky
Becky … a curious mind
Becky … a brilliant story teller
Becky … a resource that never gets depleted
Becky … an engine of creativity
Becky … a passion for writing
Becky … an endless drive
Becky … a friend
Becky, thank you for all the things you taught us in tribes.
Becky you truly are one of a kind.

… Becky will get you started too
… you can rely on her to tell it straight, but with compassion.
I joined Triiibes in March of this year, and Becky was the first person to welcome me to the site, which I really appreciated. It was a simple thing, but says so much about the type of person Becky is. She is straight-talking, direct and yet sensitive, and very interested in other people. She has empathy for them to tell their story, and she’s almost compelled to tell their story. She’s also passionately curious, which I love about her. If I had to sum up Becky Blanton in a sentence I’d say: Becky has respect for life, lives it fully, and you can rely on her to tell it straight, but with compassion.

… Becky’s writing changed me.
I didn’t think much about the homeless, other than to avoid their eyes when being asked for spare change on the street. I never really thought about the people behind those hands, wearing those soiled clothes. But Becky does. She wrote a short essay about a boy named David. A homeless boy. A boy who ironed his clothes. As Becky wrote, “Even his jeans had a crease so sharp they’d cut cold butter.” David and his ironing board changed the other boys at the shelter. And Becky’s writing changed me.
