No other professional sports team has amassed more losses, derision or sheer comeback joy than the Chicago Cubs. But they’re not without their dreams, or their fans. And Ronnie “Woo Woo” Wickers is their biggest fan. Part loved, part reviled, “Woo Woo” has been a vocal and visual presence at nearly every Cubs home game since 1969. What many fans didn’t know was that Woo Woo was homeless for more than six years. Thanks to a documentary about him, more folks have a little more insight into what HOPE (and it was Ronnie’s HOPE and dream to sing at a Cubs opener). Check out the trailer:
