What Part of “No,” Don’t You Understand?

I’ve been angry for a month now. Not snarling angry, but an unsettled, undefinable “pissy” feeling that let me know I was angry about something, but I couldn’t figure out about what. Then I realized that there are an increasing number of people in my life - not friends - but just people - who don’t understand the word “No,” and its ramifications. “No,” just means “no.” It’s not your cue to fall to the floor and kick your feet and scream and cry. Text Messages Before Twitter & Cell Phones

Technology changes. People don’t. People have remained pretty much the same since early recorded history.
