Dog Doesn’t Bite Man, Man Rescues Dog

No picture has torn at my heart more than this one taken last month after a woman’s dog broke its leash and ended up in the water off of what looks like a very chilly pier. A German tourist strips to his tighty-whities and jumps in the water to save this small dog. I know MY heart would have been breaking if I’d been this distraught woman. But the stranger rescues the dog and I assume, gets warm and dry as well as a hug!
Anyway, I put the photos …

For Unto Us a Child is Born

One of the great things about America (for now) is the freedom of speech, of faith, of religion. Not everyone who reads this post today shares my faith, but for those who do, you understand my joy! Today is the birthday of my savior. Whether Jesus Christ was born in April, July, August, December - doesn’t matter as much as the fact that on THIS day we celebrate His birth. You get it. The entire 72 minutes of the total lunar eclipse will be visible from all of North and South America, the northern and western part of Europe, and a …

I created this ebook last year and am posting it again now and asking all of you to do the same, or to share it with your friends.
I’m also adding another free ebook - Copywriting tips From the Homeless.

It’s a more …

Gifting and ReGifting and the Magic of GIVING

I just read one of what will be many articles about gifts and gift giving this year. It’s about the 5 do’s and don’ts of “regifting” - the practice of giving someone else a gift someone gave you. There are many reasons for regifting - wrong size, you hate the gift, you’re cheap, you’re broke, you’re saving for a new car and aren’t doing Christmas this year, you have a better version or model of the gift, you read the book, you’re allergic to processed food, you haven’t eaten canned …
